A TEENAGER has died following a road accident.

The 19-year-old man died in Trafford General Hospital on Saturday night after suffering serious injuries when the car he was travelling in was involved in a crash with a Ford Transit van.

The man was a passenger in a silver Toyota Yaris which was in collision with the white van at the junction of Ashburton Road West and Twining Road, in Trafford Park, at 4.30pm on Friday.

The drivers of both vehicles were treated at hospital for minor injuries.
