FEARSÂ were raised today for the health of Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood after it emerged he went on a drunken binge with a teenage girl.
The Sun reported that the father-of-four had taken Muscovite Ekaterina Ivanova, 18, to his home in Ireland, leaving his businesswoman wife Jo, 53, behind.
A source close to the 61-year-old guitarist told the Press Association that Wood had met the teenager in a bar "boozed out of his mind".
She said: "This is all connected with his drinking. He's drinking two bottles of vodka a day.
"He's not himself. She's (Ivanova) a drinking buddy. It was a party, all of that.
"It's all very booze connected."
The source said that Wood was still in Ireland.
She added that he had just come out of rehab a few weeks before his daughter Leah had got married last month.
As well as being in one of the most famous bands in the world, Wood is also known for his paintings.
The Woods have been married for more than 20 years and their relationship has been held up as one of the longest in rock history.
Speaking from the family home in Kingston upon Thames, Wood's wife told The Sun that her husband had gone on a painting holiday.
Speaking about him and Ivanova she stressed: "They're not boyfriend or girlfriend - not in that way."
She told the newspaper: "They have been staying in Ireland and Ronnie's art man was with them.
"Ronnie told me she was staying there and I said: 'OK - get on with it and have a drink, go mad.
"Drink your guts up."
