A CYCLIST suffered a serious head injury after his bike collided with a car.
The 33-year-old was taken to hospital after the crash on Low Bank Road in Ashton-in-Makerfield.
He was taken to hospital but it is not yet known whether his injury is life threatening.
The driver of the car, a Mercedes, was unharmed.
