LORRY drivers from all over Britain descended on London today in a demonstration over rocketing fuel prices.
The protest is the latest in a series by lorry drivers at a time when many hauliers are fearing for their livelihoods.
For the first time, the freight company drivers were joined by members of the Road Haulage Association and a delegation was due to lobby Parliament over the record-high fuel prices.
Peter Carroll, from the Transaction pressure group said: "It is madness for the government to continue to insist on charging the highest level of fuel duty in the EU."

This doesn't help the ordinary motorist cope with fuel costs (although it will help keep prices down elsewhere).

The problem is the people of this country have lost thier backbone, they just sit there and put up with what ever is thrown at them.
Labour out.
