POLICE have released CCTV footage of a man they want to speak to in connection with a series of "bottom pinching" attacks on women in Manchester city centre.
Police are investigating 23 similar offences over the past 18 months and believe that one man could be responsible.
In almost all cases, the man, aged in his late 20s or early 30s, has approached woman from behind before assaulting them. Many of the attacks have happened in the Northern Quarter.
CCTV images show a man walking along Dale Street moments before a 23-year-old woman was attacked on Tuesday May 13.
The man is described as approximately 5ft 8ins, of medium build with short dark coloured hair.
Det Chief Insp Joanne Rawlinson, from Grey Mare Lane CID, said: "We have linked a man to at least one other incident, however I will not rule out the possibility he is responsible for a number of others.
"I would appeal to the public to take a good hard look at this man and would urge anyone that may know who he is to contact the police."
Police are also appealing to anyone else who may have been a victim and who may not have reported it to come forward and contact police on 0161 856 3240 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
