A 16-year-old boy pedestrian has suffered a broken leg in a hit-and-run collision on Moston Lane East in Manchester.

A black Audi A4 was found damaged and abandoned on Grange Street, Failsworth, a short time later.

The boy remains in a stable condition in Crumpsall Hospital.

It is believed that there were four people in the car at the time of the collision.
