Man exposes himself to girl

A MAN exposed himself to a teenage girl and threatened her with a knife as she walked through a park.

The girl, in her early teens, was passing through Vernon Park, off Stockport Road when she turned to find a man exposing himself.

He asked her to touch him and threatened to stab her if she did not but she managed to flee.

The girl's ordeal happened at 3.40pm on Friday, June 13 and the man was spotted earlier in a white Volkswagen Golf that had music blaring out of its speakers.

He was black, about 30, very tall and muscular and was wearing a black-sleeveless top and tracksuit bottoms.

He wore a diamond stud earring in his left ear, had closely shaven hair with swirls cut into the back. He spoke with a deep voice and a Manchester accent.

The car was described as clean and shiny and had a full body kit. Detective Sergeant Julia Pidgeon, of Stockport CID, said: "The girl was terrified and the offender is someone who is clearly dangerous and needs to be caught."

Anyone with information is asked to call Stockport CID on 0161 856 9755 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
