ARM wrestling champions from across the world converged on the Trafford Centre to battle it out in a major contest.
Contestants from 20 countries flew in to take part in this year's Arm Wars event, which was staged over the weekend.
The event, which took place on the main stage in the Trafford Centre's Orient, was hosted by former World Armwrestling Federation (WAF) middleweight champion Neil Pickup.
"We really have outdone ourselves this year, in terms of the star names we've attracted to the tournament," said Mr Pickup. "There is always a great excitement and tension surrounding arm wrestling and this event at the Trafford Centre is a perfect introduction to this sport, which is constantly growing in popularity."
The best arm wrestlers in Britain lined up against top athletes from countries including the United States, Canada, Ukraine, Latvia, Switzerland, Sweden, Hungary, Georgia, Romania and Pakistan.
