POLICE have confirmed a total of eight people have been arrested since the beginning of their UEFA Cup Final operation.
Two arrests have been for common assault, one for possession of an offensive weapon, one for theft, one for possession of drugs and two for public order.
GMP said they would like to stress that the supporters have so far been largely well behaved and extremely good-natured.
And that they would like to thank fans for their co-operation in making this a great occasion for the city of Manchester.

That's because the police decided to ignore laws such as drinking in the street, urinating in a public place, foul and abusive language etc.
Eight arrests doesn't mean these animals were well behaved.
