POLICE have released CCTV images after a man was assaulted.
The 29-year-old victim went in to the HSBC bank in Cheadle at 4.30pm on 4th February, and got into an argument with another man.
The victim left the bank and drove along Massie Street, but he was followed by the other man who got him to pull over and then attacked him, punching him in the face several times.
The man was left with a broken nose, broken cheekbone, and shattered eye socket.
Detective Sergeant Richard Chapman from Stockport CID said: "The victim had a dispute with a man in the bank but thinking this had been resolved continued with his day.
"The offender has taken it upon himself to get into his car and follow the victim before violently assaulting him.
"This type of behaviour is completely unacceptable and I would like appeal to the man in the CCTV image, or anyone that recognises him, to contact police."
Anyone with any information is asked to call Stockport CID on 0161 856 9844 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Today's criminal aspires to appear on Manchesteronline so Ace can threaten to birch them.
I suggest Ace has single-handedly caused crimerate in this city to rocket. Just a suggestion mind...
