A MAN is suspected of kidnapping the same woman twice in the space of 10 days.
Daniel Hodgin, 21, is wanted in connection with both incidents this month.
At about 5am on Sunday, police were called to a house in Ancoats following reports that an 18-year-old girl had been dragged from the house against her will and bundled into a car.
The woman was driven to an unknown location where she was assaulted and held captive for three hours.
Intensive efforts were made to find kidnapper and the victim by police and shortly before 8am the woman was released by her captor and returned to her family.
Ten days earlier, on April 17, the woman was also kidnapped by the same man on Wigsby Avenue, Moston at about 12.30pm. Again, the victim was dragged into a car against her will. Luckily she managed to escape about 30 minutes later and raised the alarm.
Police have today released this picture of Daniel and are appealing to anyone who knows of his whereabouts to come forward and contact police.
Detective Constable Paul Dunne, of Grey Mare Lane CID, said: "I would urge anyone who has information about where Daniel might be to contact us and help us with our inquiries. In the past two weeks, the victim has been subjected to two terrifying ordeals in which she has been kidnapped and held against her will.
"It is vital we speak to Daniel about these incidents.
"Daniel, if you are reading or hearing this, please identify yourself to police."
Anyone with information is asked to call Grey Mare Lane CID on 0161 856 1931.
