THE funeral of a Lancashire teenager killed in a coach crash in Ecuador is to take place.
Rebecca Logie, from Chorley, was one of five British women - four teenagers and a 26-year-old - who died as they travelled from the country's capital, Quito, to a fishing village and were struck by a lorry carrying sand.
The funeral for the 19-year-old will be held at St George's Church in her home town.
Her sister, Emily Logie, has created a tribute page on Facebook.
In a message giving details of the funeral, she wrote: "Becci wouldn't have wanted us all dressed in black.
"Please wear whatever you are comfortable in and make it a celebration."
The family have asked that any donations are made to a charity set up by VentureCo, the travel company which organised Miss Logie's trip to Ecuador.
The VentureCo Trust will contribute to a project in Puerto Lopez to help remember the crash victims, as well as support the local community.
Gap-year students Elizabeth Pincock, 19, from Taunton, Somerset; Emily Sadler, 19, from Northwood, Hertfordshire and Indira Swann, 18, of Maidenhead, Berkshire, were all killed.
Trip leader Sarah Howard, 26, from Northwich, Cheshire, also died.
