A PUB landlord promises not to leave his regulars half cut - after setting up a barber's shop in his boozer.
Cris Cummins from the Assheton Arms in Middleton, has splashed out £5,000 to transform a corner of his pub into a modern salon.
He reckons his is the first pub in England to offer the service and regulars can't wait to get a trim while they enjoy a pint.
Chris said: "The pub industry is really tough at the minute, with the smoking ban and the Chancellor adding more tax onto drinks. We're being forced to diversify."
"Everyone at the bar has been really supportive of it and they're eager to try it out."
As well as a drink and a hair cut, patrons will also be able to discover more about the history of Middleton, as the barber's shop is a mini-museum to the history of the town.
What do you think? Have your say.

There's a lot of interesting history in Mid compared to other towns.
