ADVISORS from Rochdale council will now be available outside office hours to deal with enquiries about property and parking.

Council information about properties to let - including shops, industrial units, grazing plots and garages - can now be dealt until 8pm on weekday evenings, on 0845 121 2980.

And questions concerning highways and engineering - including questions about penalty charge notices, parking permits, car parks, highways and highway maintenance - can be answered by staff, on 0845 121 2979.

As part of the new service, advisors will be available between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday and between 9am and 1pm on Saturdays.
