VANDALS have smashed the windows of a number of cars parked in the Sharples area of Bolton.
On three consecutive nights from January 23, the vandals smashed the windows of at least six cars parked on Florence Avenue, Douglas Street, Kellett Street, Murton Terrace and Ollerton Street.
No attempt was made to steal the cars or any items from inside.
The vandalism happened mostly overnight and the total damage will cost up to £2,000 to repair.
Police Constable Graham Neil, Community Beat Manager for Astley Bridge and Sharples, said: "These acts of criminal damage are not only causing distress to residents but also a great deal of expense.
"I would appeal to anyone who has information, or any witnesses, to contact police on 0161 856 5761 or Crimestoppers, in confidence, on 0800 555 111."

These scumbags besides the expense they have caused and time and effort by the people whose property they have damaged are fireproof and they know it.
What happens if one of these feral children is under the age of 10?
My guess is nothing, no point asking the parent (usually one and not plural)as they are waiting for the load of beer tokens to turn up in the way of benefit handouts they need every penny for esentials you know cigarettes and scratchcards.Absolute nightmare that you can't wake up from.
