PICTURES of clothing have been released as police hunt for two armed robbers.
The shots are of a hat and hooded top believed to have been worn by one of a pair of men who struck at a Chadderton off licence.
The raiders entered Kalis Wines on Hollinwood Avenue last Tuesday (29 jan) at 12.30pm armed with metal bars.
They demanded money, escaped with cash and ran off along a bridal path at the side of Moston rail station.
The images show clothing recovered by officers close to the scene which they believe was worn during the robbery.
Det Con Phil Parker, from Oldham CID, said: "The hat in particular has a very distinctive pattern and I am keen to speak to anyone who knows where this item may be made or sold, or who knows anyone that owns one.
"These men have deliberately armed themselves with the sole purpose of robbing this shop and they need to be caught. I would appeal to anyone who knows anything at all to contact police."
Both men are described as about 5ft 5in and of slim build. They spoke with local accents, were wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Oldham CID on 0161 856 8952 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
