A GIRL of 13 escaped a man who tried to abduct her twice in five days.

The girl ran off when she was chased by a man who got out of a red van on The Avenue at 3.50pm on January 18.

The second attack took place when the girl and a friend were walking on Moss Lane at 4pm on January 23. This time the man, who was around 40 years old, grabbed her but her friend helped pull her away and the girls ran off.
