POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a masked gang burst into a man's house and threatened him at gunpoint.
Three men wearing balaclavas forced their way into a house on Longhope Road, Woodhouse Park in Wythenshawe shortly after 8pm on Sunday.
Two of them were armed with guns and threatened the 44-year-old householder.
The attackers demanded keys to a garage and the resident fled upstairs, but they hit him with the firearm and struck him with what is believed to be a cosh.
The victim suffered head injuries, which are not serious, but he was left extremely shaken.
The robbers left the house after stealing a laptop, mobile phone and keys.
One of them is described as being 5ft 10ins tall and of medium build. The other two are shorter and all were wearing dark clothing and had local accents.
