THE judge in the trial of five teenagers accused of kicking a father-of-three to death began his summing up today.
Garry Newlove (pictured), 47, was attacked outside his home in Fearnhead, Warrington, Cheshire, on August 10 after a confrontation with a gang of youths.
Mr Justice Andrew Smith summed up the evidence heard during the eight-week trial at Chester Crown Court.
The five teenagers denied murder during the eight-week trial at Chester Crown Court.
Mr Justice Smith is expected to complete his summing up tomorrow. The case was adjourned until tomorrow.
