A LORRY fire caused rush-hour traffic chaos this morning.

Huge tailbacks were reported on the M60 following the blaze just after 6am.

Two lanes were closed while the refrigerated lorry was recovered from the hard shoulder close to Junction One at the Pyramid in Stockport.

Queues stretching for more than three miles were reported.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
