GEORGE Best's sister, Barbara McNarry, marked the second anniversary of her brother's death by returning to the city that adopted him as its favourite son.
She travelled to Manchester from Belfast with 60 young dancers, who paid tribute to the legendary player by performing a routine in his memory at the Trafford Centre.
George died aged 59 on November 25, 2005. His funeral was held in Belfast two years ago yesterday.
Barbara, 55, visited Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium with the children and introduced them to George's former team-mate, Paddy Crerand. Then she went to the centre, where the Belfast pupils performed their George Best-inspired routine on stage.
Barbara said: "It's such a special day to be in Manchester.
"But it always feels special to come here because the people were always so supportive of George, especially when he first arrived as a kid of 15.
"To see these children from Belfast perform a dance routine inspired by George here is quite incredible."
Barbara and her husband Norman travelled to Manchester from Belfast's George Best Airport on a Flybe plane that was also named after him.

As for the rest, well. His antics off the field are no example to any youngster. In fact he should be quietly laid to rest & forgotten.
