A DRUNKEN wedding guest has apologised to paramedics who had to `scrape' her off the pavement after a fall.
Sian Phillips, 34, tripped and knocked herself out while leaving a bar in Knutsford after a wedding.
She wrote to the M.E.N's sister paper the Macclesfield Express, outlining her regret at making a fool of herself.
Ms Phillips suffered bumps and `some spectacular bruises' in the fall.
She was discovered unconscious by an unidentified Good Samaritan who called an ambulance.
Now Ms Phillips, a hotel worker from Hereford, has thanked the mystery person and sent her apologies to the `poor ambulance crew'.
She said: "Had it not been for the Good Samaritan... I dread to think what could have happened.
"I also offer my sincere thanks and profuse apologies to the poor ambulance crew who came to scrape me off the pavement."

The burden on the Ambulance Service and their brave crews is huge with the accountability of the 'victims' rarely being admitted like this lady.
I think the hosts should have been aware of the plight of their guest and should also thank the ambulance people for their kind act.
The Astro Turf idea is interesting - it could also provide a non slip surface in the winter months.
