SALE Detectives investigating a man's murder have arrested three people.

Gareth Broadhurst, 21, of Newbury Avenue, Sale, was found with serious injuries and taken to hospital but died later.

A post- mortem revealed serious head injuries.

Police say a woman aged 28 from Sale, and two 27-year-old men have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are in custody. Robert Francis Kavanagh, 33, of no fixed address, was charged with murder on July 13.
