A HOLIDAY jet taking more than 230 passengers to Portugal made an emergency landing at Manchester Airport with an hydraulic fault.
The Thomas Cook Boeing 757 developed problems soon after it took off from Birmingham.
The plane touched down safely on Manchester Airport's second runway and no one was injured.
Firefighters were put on standby as a precaution.
No delays were caused to flights arriving or departing from Manchester.
