A 42-year-old Greater Manchester man who died following a road accident has been named as Anthony Jones.

Mr Jones, from Ince, Wigan, was in a Vauxhall Vectra which left the A169 and hit a tree near Lockton, two miles north of Pickering in North Yorkshire.

Another man in the car was airlifted to hospital in Middlesbrough, where he remains with serious injuries.
