AN edible billboard made from 390 kilos of pure chocolate was unveiled today.
Thorntons is inviting passers-by to tuck into the 14.5ft by 9.5ft sign in London's Covent Garden.
The Easter creation is a world first, according to the chocolate firm.
Its edible billboard is made of 128 panels of chocolate, each weighing two kilos.
Decorate
Ten hand-crafted chocolate bunnies and 72 giant chocolate Easter eggs decorate the billboard.
The entire creation was made by hand by Thorntons master chocolatier Barry Colenso, who said: "We wanted to produce something spectacular to celebrate Easter this year, by providing an interactive chocolate experience for people to share in."
It took around 221 hours to make the chocolate panels, eggs, bunnies and lettering.

Its not very hygenic, may contain nuts and heaven forbid a flying rodent leaves its mark....No where's my chunk.
Celebrate Easter? Why not go the whole hog and make a chocolate cross with JC attached with a crown of thorn tons round his head.
I'm surprised the health and safety brigade even allowed this... What if someone gets a poorly tummy and sues!!
Great idea though - can you save me a bit
Nice to know the execs are spending their profits on promotions rather than just lining their pockets like they usually do. Bring on the rats, bats & other various species who will no doubt enjoy the promotion.
Don't forget the marketing rats who feed off everyone who responds to their 'free' box of chocs for every marketing survey completed & left, (complete with peoples doorsteps.
P.S wonder how much of the choc was "fair" trade?
