European Regional Development Fund Programme provides £20m for business start-ups

Business start-ups in areas of higher-than-average unemployment will benefit from a £20m pot of cash for projects in the north west.

The European Regional Development Fund Programme is making the money available to organisations providing support for entrepreneurs in deprived communities. Grants will be allocated under a new north west start-up support programme.
