Casino capital of the north

MANCHESTER could become the casino capital of the north. Consultants Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker have been appointed by the city council to advise on a Las Vegas-style casino resort on a 7.3-ha site in East Manchester.


Sporting affair

SIR Alex Ferguson has officially opened Ron Wood Development's south Manchester office property, The Royals. The launch of the 5,200-sq m building attracted over 100 guests, including sporting celebrities Sam Alllardyce, Bryan Robson and Kevin Moran.


Modus sale

PROPERTY developer Modus has sold its 381-sq m Oliver Street, Warrington, retail scheme to a private buyer for £918,000, a net initial yield of 6 per cent.
