Old offices, new homes

SWAN Properties has sold its 442-sq m offices at 12/20 Cotton Street, Ancoats in a £250,000 deal.

The purchaser was a local property company. The offices will be converted into new homes, says surveyor ep2, who advised Swan.


Philip joins

PHILIP Mayall has joined Chorley-based Delma Developments as a surveyor. The firm, based at the Ackhurst business park, is part of the property business of Lancashire leisure magnate Trevor Hemmings.


Southlink deal

OLDHAM council has sold Horton House at the Southlink business village to Dunefield Properties. The 1,235- sq m office property changed hands for £950,000, a yield of 8.9 per cent. Lambert Smith Hampton acted for the council with Knight Frank acting for Dunefield.


Burnley let

THE final 1,950 sq m office unit at Burnley's Centenary Court has been let, reports landlord Modus Properties. The new tenant is Burnley & Padiham Community Housing. H W Petty acted for Modus in the deal.
