Decade for Donaldsons
The Manchester office of national property consultants Donaldsons celebrates ten years in the City this week. Alan Black, Partner in charge of the office, says that the team has grown from 7 to 32 in the past decade.
Shelton move for Keynsham property
Shelton Properties have purchased the freehold retail investment of 12 Temple Street, Keynsham, paying £417,000, a net initial yield of 6.1 per cent. The buyers was representeds by Cheshire agents Fifield Glyn.
Last Coppice unit goes
Acting on behalf of a London-based investor, Greater Manchester surveyors roger Hannah & Co has let the last unit at Oldham's Coppice industrial estate. The estate now produces a rental income of £50,000 a year, a return of 20 per cent on the original purchase price.
Enterprise park expands
St Modwen Ventures, an investment subsidiary of St Modwen Properties, has been granted detailed consent to expand the 12.1 ha Wigan enterprise park with the development of a further 8,820 sq m of industrial space. Existing tenants include Joy Mining Machinery, RMS Distribution and Kitchen Foods.
Network 65 site sold
Beva Investments have sold a 912 sq m office block at Bridgewater Close, on Burnley's Network 65 business park, for £1.6 million. The buyer was Ventnor Ltd, represented by DGI Davis George. Lambert Smith Hampton represented Beva. The yield was 7.68 per cent.
