Budget bonus

THE Chancellor of the Exchequer's Budget decision to exempt some parts of Manchester from stamp duty has eased the sale of an industrial property in Openshaw. The 1,330-sq m unit at Louisa Street has been sold for '310,000 to Venus Foods.

Chorley bowl

PROPERTY Alliance Group has announced plans for a '4m leisure development at Water Street, Chorley. The former industrial site is to be transformed into a bowling alley.
