Capita twins in the Sunlight

MPM Capita is to occupy a 387-sq m office suite at Sunlight House, Quay Street, joining sister firm Tozer Capita at the landmark building owned by Co-Operative Insurance Services.

Letting agents Canning O'Neill say the rent will be '172/sq m on a 10-year lease. The deal follows a 688-sq m letting to the Crown Prosecution Service paying '167/sq m.


Blackberry sales

TWO industrial units at Blackberry Park, Wingates Industrial Estate, Bolton, have been sold before building work is completed - one of 1,810 sq m for '975,000 to Cable World, a second of 1,510 sq m to Wallace Printers for '812,500. Developers Commercial Development Projects was advised by Lambert Smith Hampton and FPD Savills.


In for a Penny

PROPERTY Alliance Group has announced plans for a '10m redevelopment of a site at Penny Lane in Blackburn town centre. The 2,2280-sq m scheme will include a six-screen Apollo cinema.


Churchill Point

NEW Age Properties has started work on the development of its '5m speculative manufacturing scheme on Trafford Park Road. The 6,140-sq m Churchill Point will be ready for occupation this summer, say joint letting agents FPD Savills and Knight Frank.
