Cheadle-based Nord Anglia said the win, which follows the integration of two regional providers into its school inspections business, will increase its activities in the sector by 40 per cent on last year.
Nord Anglia is one of the biggest providers of inspections for Ofsted.
Rosamund Marshall, director of outsourcing at Nord Anglia, said: 'Currently, school inspections are delivered by more than 50 approved contractors. For the 2003/2004 academic year, that number has been reduced to 24.
'We are delighted to have been chosen for school inspections for Ofsted. The group will work closely with schools and inspectors to ensure the continued quality of service.'
