It4 clinches coalfield deal

A Greater Manchester IT service provider has clinched a deal to develop an industrial property database online.

Ashton-In-Makerfield based It4 Limited is working alongside Chester property company the Langtree Group for the government body of English Partnerships to allow access to 1,000 properties online.

The websites www.networkspace.co.uk and www.langtreegroup.co.uk are part of English Partnership's bid to regenerate old English coalfield sites and will provide the tools for staff to update content so that it can easily be reported and analysed by higher management. It will allow reports to be produced on a daily basis.

Networkspace kicked off with 500 listings in the office and industrial Internet sectors and also covers leasing and sales with online access to 120 properties.

The Langtree Group site has 2,000 listings in the office and industrial Internet sectors, boasting direct online access to 800 properties.

It4's managing director e-business UK Aaron Belton believes corporations around the world are overlooking the Internet's potential as a tool for business collaboration.

He said: ''Web based collaboration is not just about technology, it's about people and processes, implementing strategy and sharing information we may have thought to be proprietary or confidential before the days of the Internet.

''Our new sites provide better access to property for business and allow our professional staff to better present the product. We are thrilled to be awarded this prestigious contract, English Partnerships are well respected and known throughout the business community.''

It4's system for English Partnerships supports customer-focused policies, which even makes same day letting a possibility.
