A HEALTH club designed with the business community in mind opens its doors next week.
GL-14 on Chepstow Street is specially geared up to appeal to people who want to squeeze a studio session or time in the gym before, during or after work.
It has combined leading edge technology with knowledge of the pressures of working life to offer a health club, which can meet members' tight schedules.
Half hour studio sessions are available at lunchtimes and members can order lunch at GL-14's deli-bar as they go in and collect it as they leave after a workout.
And a smart-key system has been installed in the gym so members can choose their own fitness programme, according to time available, and thanks to the integral microchip, the key will tell the exercise machine in use just what they should be doing.
Fitness Manager at GL-14, Lee Pollitt, said: "In a nutshell this system will revolutionise the way gym members train in that training cards used in other gyms will be replaced at GL-14 with smart keys.
"This technology will support GL-14's commitment to keeping clients motivated - think of it as having your own smart personal trainer in your pocket."
The smart-key, TechnoGym, fitness system is used by the world's top sportsmen and women including footballers from AC Milan and Juventus, as well as racing driver Michael Schumacher. Tweet
