Mapeley, office agents at Lambert Smith Hampton have sub-let Unit A, Centre Park, Warrington to chartered accountants Baker Tilly, represented by Mellor Braggins. The 10,985 sq. ft. unit has been let for a passing rental of é142,000 a year. Over 10 years remain on the lease.
The environmental division of
White Young Green has appointed Steven Radford, 37, as a renewable energy specialist in Manchester. His new role will also developing the client base and projects in the sector taking them from concept through design, planning and consent. Steven is currently working on a planning application for a wind farm in Yorkshire.
R W Gregory, consulting engineers, has announced the promotion of Chris Bradburn to partner. Based in the Manchester office of the 200-strong UK practice, Chris joined R W Gregory in 1990 and was promoted to associate in 1995.
Drivers Jonas has appointed two new associate partners at its Manchester office. Stuart Knight joins the strategic consulting team and Colin Williams is the latest member of the Manchester planning team.
Harman Healy Commercial is to auction Manchester's Theatre Royal in Hyde. The Grade II listed building has already attracted a lot of interest from potential purchasers, most notably from local heritage groups trying to obtain funding to acquire the building. The auction is due to take place on Tuesday, September 19 in London.

Amec and
Stayley have announced two business unit sales at Ashton Moss. Direct mail company Paton Brown has exchanged contracts on units six and seven which will act as an additional distribution centre to its existing premises based in Manchester. In a further deal, TK Components, a kitchen parts supplier, is taking a 6,092 sq ft unit at the scheme. Agents for Ashton Moss are King Sturge and Cordingley's.
WHR Property Consultancy has sold a former post office sorting depot in Cheadle to a private investor, achieving more than é400,000 for the 3,500 sq ft site. The site would be ideal for a prime leisure or retail use, say property advisers.
