Canadian-born Bowd is a keen triathlete, racing for one of the UK's top teams over the Ironman Distance. He has gained experience in-house at the University of Alberta Residence Hall Association, the Virgin Group and Weber Shandwick.
He has a degree in PR, and a PhD from Manchester Metropolitan University. Hayward graduated in PR and sports science at Exeter University and worked for Elements Communications in Botswana, on consumer accounts including the national Aids campaign, road safety, Chevrolet, Avis, Cresta Hospitality and BP.
His experience as a freelance practitioner included time with Weber Shandwick Worldwide. He is a dedicated sportsman competing to club, county or University standard in rugby, tennis, cricket and downhill skiing.
