HH land Salford estate in £4m deal

THE Middleton-based property business Hamilton Heath has bought the seven-acre Duncan Street Estate in Salford in a é4m deal.

The deal was based on sale and leaseback to Creative Logistics, who occupy 76,000 sq ft at the site.

Hamilton Heath say the site is now fully let, having secured additional lettings with JJC Limited, Vodafone and Duncan Street Enterprises.

The deal came days after the property development and investment company sold an 11.5-acre site in Rochdale in a deal worth é6.5m.

The 157,000 sq ft Cowm Top Business Park has been sold to RSW, who will also be refurbishing 50,000 sq ft at the park, in a joint venture with Hamilton Health. Agents were GVA Grimley and Nolan Redshaw.

Andrew Chaytow, of Hamilton Heath Estates, said: "The Salford site has provided us with an fantastic opportunity to acquire a large industrial estate."
