MANCHESTER regeneration specialist Artisan has appointed Jonathan Wilkinson as development director. He is a former head of residential property in the UK at GVA Grimley. Wilkinson joins Artisan as it announces its first project in Sheffield, Foxhill and forming a joint venture with Barratt .

THE Manchester office of property consultant, King Sturge, has strengthened its planning team with the appointment of Joanna Gabrilatsou as an Associate. She joins the team from DTZ having also worked for Roger Tym and Partners and Calderdale Metropolitan Borough Council.

SAVILLS Manchester acquired the part long leasehold and part freehold interest in The Factory Shop, Glebe Street, Great Harwood, Blackburn, as a self-invested personal pension investment, for a private investor. The property was bought for é646,000 which reflects a net initial yield of 6 per cent.
