BROADFIELD Distribution Centre in Heywood, has secured an 11,400 sq ft letting to P & H Contract Services Ltd. The company, which already occupies an 11,500 sq ft building on the scheme, has agreed a 10-year lease for an adjacent unit at '5.30 per sq ft. King Sturge, Whittle Jones and WHR are the joint letting agents.

LAW firm Cobbetts have released 30,430 sq ft for sub-letting in their new development of 58 Mosley Street. Construction of the new Manchester office for the regional law firm is currently well advanced with completion due in December 2006. Maple Grove is the Developer. DTZ have been appointed letting agents.

LAWYERS from Addleshaw Goddard's Real Estate have advised Standard Life on the acquisition of two branches of home improvement retailer B&Q for a total of '61m. The deal, which was completed in five days from receipt of instruction, was led by real estate partner Dean Copley, working with David Moroney, Paul Dorrian, Celine Jackson and Justine Catterall.
