The airport has teamed up with T-Mobile to provide Wi-Fi access in all seating areas and most business lounges.
Simon Ainslie, the firm's UK director of business sales, said: "We are committed to providing Wi-Fi access across the UK to enable people to access the internet where they want, when they want. We are ensuring that travellers can make the best use of their downtime while waiting for flights."
Martin Smith, Manchester Airport's head of group information services, said: "The partnership with T-Mobile to provide wireless technology means that, more than ever before, business doesn't have to stop when travellers reach our airports."
Charges apply for using the service.

Manchester Airport is making a sad mistake choosing T-mobile. The international trend is towards FREE WiFi, and not to charge for the service.
You want to attract passengers to Manchester, not direct them to other airports.
