Burnden handover

IT'S "all change" at Burnden Park, Bolton, owned by Grangefern Properties, a joint venture between Orbit Developments and United Co-operatives.

Previously occupied by Big W, it is re-opening as a 84,379-sq ft Asda superstore. The pre-let of a 24,478-sq ft unit to JJB Sports Retail and JJB Fitness Clubs has also been secured.

Pochin party

Pochin Contracts held a ceremony for retiring employees Roy Chell and Ted Yoxall at the recently refurbished Robinson's Windmill Pub, Tabley, near Knutsford. It is the Middlewich-based firm's 30th year in its relationship with Robinson's Brewery.

Seddon sales

BOLTON-based Seddon Developments has sold the second and third phase units at Waterfold Business Park, Bury, Offering small-scale office units ranging in size from 2,000 sq ft to 8,000 sq ft next to junction two of the M66.

New look

BROOK House, on the corner of Fountain Street and Spring Gardens, Manchester, has undergone a major refurbishment. The building, project-managed by Matthews & Goodman, offers office suites ranging from 860 sq ft.
