Madhouse in cancer role

ASTRAZENECA has appointed Manchester agency Madhouse to develop global sales communications aids for their prostate cancer drug Casodex, which has current worldwide sales of $1bn per year. Stephen Owens, global brand director of Casodex said: "We were impressed by their experience of producing global campaigns."

Laura joins

LAURA Armstrong has joined Bolton-based Portfolio as account manager for the Timberland brand. The MMU graduate joins from Manchester agency Walsh Simmons where she worked on accounts for Moat House Hotels, The Co-operative Bank, CIS and Totesport.
