TONY Norton and Howard Bilton, who made '39m with the sale of their American Golf Discount store business in February, are to move into property.

The pair have set up AJ & HB Properties - and funded their first deal - a loan of '5.7m to Blundellsands Classic to enable it to develop and market 34 new retirement flats in Blundellsands, Crosby.

The second deal comprised a loan of '350K to JMB Estates to buy land adjoining the Blundellsands Hotel.

A further loan agreement will see AJ & HB Properties lend an additional '1.5m to JMB Estates to develop nine bung-alows on the land.
