The Mere Golf Resort and Spa, Knutsford, has made three senior appointments.

Jane Hubbard becomes human resources manager, joining from Handpicked Hotels, Gill Twist has been appointed director of sales after moving from Mint Hotels, while Jessica Bennett has been appointed rooms division manager, transferring from being deputy general manager at Malmaison Manchester. She will be responsible for concierge, housekeeping and reception. The Mere is being relaunched in March with an 81-bed hotel.

*Internet service provider Zen Internet has boosted its sales team. Rochdale-based Zen has recruited David Clapham as solutions sales manager and Matt Whitworth as telesales team manager.

*Jason Southern has been appointed business development manager at J2 Retail Systems, which makes touch-screen tills for shops, the hospitality and leisure industries. He joins Warrington-based J2 from Maxa Technologies, Altrincham, where he was international sales manager.

*Louise Potts has been appointed people and culture manager at SolutionsPT, an industrial automation specialist based at Cheadle. Mother-of-two Louise (pictured) began her career at Boots and later moved to Manchester United.

*Leigh Scott has been appointed general manager at serviced office provider i2 Office’s new business centre in Chancery Place, Manchester.

*Sensor manufacturer Analytical Technology, which specialises in supplying sectors including food and drink manufacturers, utilities and pharmaceuticals, has boosted its customer service team with the arrival of Lisa Briggs and Ann Jones. The firm is based at Saddleworth.

*Business relocation specialist Harrow Green has recruited Ewan Campbell, 38, as a commercial relocation consultant based at its regional centre in Middleton. He will be responsible for developing the firm’s business in the north west and for managing its contract with Bradford council. He has joined from Jackal International, based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

*Steve Cooney has joined Dunscar Bridge Brewery, Bolton, as sales manager. Duncan, 44, a married father-of-two who lives in Prescot, Merseyside, will promote Dunscar’s cask beers to the free trade across the north.
