Peel Land and Property has signed a 15-year deal with children's nurseries operator Bertram to open a site at Salford Quays.
The Holyrood Nursery will care for around 100 children at Central Park and will be Bertram's second letting at a Peel scheme after it opened a nursery at Princess Dock in Liverpool earlier this year.
Susan McGhee, commercial director at Bertram, said: “We have worked hard to create a bespoke facility that will not only meet but exceed the needs of children and families living and working around the Quays and MediaCityUK.”
The Edinburgh-based childcare group has 32 nurseries in Scotland and the north west, including the Holyrood chain in Greater Manchester, which it bought in 2008.
Bertram has since grown Holyrood from nine to 14 branches.
Stephen Wild, managing director of MediaCityUK, said: “We are working closely with our colleagues across the Peel portfolio to provide the broadest possible range of facilities for both MediaCityUK and the surrounding area.
“Holyrood will offer a much-needed service and will no doubt be a great asset for families at the Quays.”
Bookings are already being taken for the nursery, which opens on October 3.
