Daisy Group offering jobs to Talk Talk employees

Lancashire telecoms firm Daisy Group is offering a jobs lifeline to employees of Talk Talk, which has announced plans to axe around 580 posts, or 13 per cent of its UK workforce, affecting staff in Warrington, Irlam and Preston.

Daisy Group said it was hoping to talk to Talk Talk staff as it looks to fill over 70 vacancies. The firm has also applied to expand its base in Nelson, where it currently employs more than 400. If the plans are approved, Daisy will have capacity for a further 600 members of staff.

The AIM-listed group has grown rapidly since floating in 2009. It has made 12 acquisitions and now serves more than 75,000 business customers and has 1,250 staff nationwide.
