Stock Exchange site is sold

THE investments team at Jones Lang LaSalle's Manchester office has secured the purchase of the city's former Stock Exchange building on behalf of a local private investor for '4.66m - a net initial yield of 6.85 per cent.

The 2,194-sq m Grade II listed office building, is on Norfolk Street. FPD Savills acted for the vendor, also a private investor.


Three for Eve

SURVEYORS Gerald Eve has appointed Lisa Matthewson to its planning team. Building surveyors Ian Heald and Michael Donohoe also join the new Manchester office.


Enter Indigo

GMA Planning has changed its name to Indigo. The directors and company address remain the same. The firm has been advising private sector clients on large-scale commercial development projects in the UK for over 15 years.


Look in

FASHION brand New Look is the latest retailer to agree terms on a 925-sq m unit at the 19,695-sq m Crown Point North Shopping Park in Denton. Bhs, TK Maxx, Burton, Dorothy Perkins, Evans, Wallis, JD Sports and Birthdays are already trading on the scheme.


New offices

PROPERTY Alliance Group has been granted planning permission for a 3,060-sq m speculative office block at 340 Deansgate. Work is due to begin in September on the former BJ West motorcycle showroom site.


Eccles let

EP2 SURVEYORS have let a 2,540-sq m warehouse and office unit at Lyntown Trading Estate, Eccles to Jayess Freight and Warehousing. The rent is '96,415 a year, until March 2006.
