Sky lounge for Argent

CITY Inn, the specialist hotel operator, has finally signed contracts to open a new hotel at Argent's Piccadilly Place scheme, close to Piccadilly railway station. The 284-bed hotel and 120-cover restaurant will open by August 2006. It will include a unique Sky Lounge with views over the city.

SANDERSON Weatherall has secured an instruction, worth '1m a year to manage about one-fifth of Royal Mail Group plc's 4.2 million-sq m UK portfolio of over 3,000 properties. The firm has been appointed to manage all 627 Royal Mail properties

AEDAS, the architectural and building surveyors, met success at the 2004 Visma Software Formula Palmer Audi Championship at Oulton Park.

The Aedas-sponsored car driven by BRDC star Jonathan Kennard went off in pole and finished third.
