A NORTH west firm which supplies equipment used to care for some of the world's top soccer pitches and golf courses has secured a funding boost to expand.

Campey Turf Care, based in Macclesfield, has provided machinery to Real Madrid, Manchester United, Royal Birkdale and Royal Lytham and is eyeing growth in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

The business employs 26 staff and is led by managing director Richard Campey.

Yorkshire Bank has extended its working capital facilities to the business to support its expansion plans.

The bank’s team was led by Manchester-based business partner Steve Cox.
